Under Phosphorus Skies

By

Congratulations on your purchase of a Glonaut Industries Glow in the Dark Star Kit. Your purchase grants you access to the wonder of the galaxy from the comfort of home.

Please note the following guidelines to ensure optimal enjoyment of your stars.

Contents

Each Glow in the Dark Star Kit (hereafter, “kit”) consists of 17 glow in the dark stars affixed to a paper backing sheet. Should your kit have more or less than the promised number of stars, please write to our Customer Care Centre to request or return additional stars as appropriate (address on package reverse).

Application

  1. Peel each star from the paper backing sheet, starting with the pointiest end of the star. In the event you cannot grasp the point, use a nail file, credit card, or butter knife to ease the star from the backing sheet.

  2. Apply each star, one at a time, to a clean, dry surface in a well-lit room. Glonaut stars will adhere to most painted, unpainted, wooden, metal, and plastic surfaces. Application to plush, felted, or furred surfaces is not recommended.

For best results, stars should be placed by an exhausted adult indulging the whims of their offspring. It is an inefficient way of discovering new galaxies but, we find, a more hopeful one.

Activation

  1. Once all stars are placed, remove any packaging, ladders, or stools from the installation area.

  2. Ensure all star observers (hereafter, “Glonauts”) have taken a suitably comfortable position relative to the galaxy’s placement. We recommend using ample pillows and blankets to bolster and cushion Glonauts during their observation period.

  3. Turn off the lights. Excited humming, squealing, or cheering is encouraged.

  4. Observe your new galaxy. Bask in its infinite promise.

With suitable overhead charging, Glonaut stars should phosphoresce for at least 28 minutes, but individual glow times may vary.

Cautions

Glonaut star adhesive (GloGlue, patent pending 1996) has an uncertain half life, so galaxies may require periodic refreshment. Gloanut Industries manufactures replacement stars to repair failing constellations. Replacement star kits are vailable for purchase at fine retaillers nationwide.

Replacement kit contents may vary from province to province and be limited in Quebec.

Performing galactic adjustments may produce anomalies in the existing star charts. You should take care to update your star charts after cosmic renovations and note any constellation drift accordingly.

Failure to follow the abovementioned guidelines may result in underwhelming star distribution, chronic malaise, and stunted whimsy.

Certifications, Indemnities and etc.

Glonaut Industries is pleased to certify that its Glow in the Dark Star Kit is not a source of brain rot. No training data was consumed to predict the final placement of your constellation. The placement of the stars is not algorithmically generated. Glonaut Industries guarantees that each Glow in the Dark star pattern was conceived by a tiny mind running the newest cellular operating system available, boosted by peanut butter and string cheese.

Please enjoy your stars.
